Springtime Workshop/Instructor Application

Thank you for you interest in facilitating a workshop during Springtime at Fraser’s Ridge in May of 2022! We are super excited to host this event, focusing on North Carolina’s history and the Scottish Cultural traditions as they join together.  We are looking forward to the workshops you can offer that will provide fun and exciting options for our attendees as they learn new skills, enhance their knowledge and immerse themselves for a true history based experience…Outlander style!

Each instructor will need to fill out the application below. This will help us look over all of the potential workshops and, in the event we have too many, select the ones that best fit our attendees and the space that we have available. 

Instructors will be charged a $25 flat fee for each workshop they wish to present. The fee is one-time charge just for the workshop itself. For example, if an instructor teaches one workshop four times, the cost to the instructor will be a flat $25. If an instructor wishes to teach four different workshops several times over the course of the three days of the event, the cost will be $100. This cost may be recouped in the price the instructor sets for the workshop.

*If you are a non-profit or teaching a FREE workshop in exchange for an honorarium, donation or other reason, please complete the information in the form below and select FREE workshop in the fee section. This will let you bypass the payment field.

Instructors will need to choose the method in which they get paid directly by the attendees so that we can make that information available on the registration website. Once you have your rosters, you can communicate to your attendees the exact method of payment, whether through PayPal, Venmo, or payment directly to you via mail or at the workshop itself.

As mentioned above, if we have more apply than we can reasonably fit into the three days or into the space that we have, we will have to make a selection. In the event one or more of your workshops is not selected, your application fee for the declined workshop(s) will be returned to you less the transaction fee (2.9% + $0.30).
