Fraser's Ridge Overmountain History Tour Accommodation Recommendations
The first day of our tour will begin and end in Wilkesboro, NC and the second day in West Jefferson, NC. Wilkesboro and West Jefferson are approximately 30 miles apart with Wilkesboro being "down the mountain" and West Jefferson being "up the mountain". This means that traveling at night from one to the other is not recommended unless you are familiar with driving mountain roads. Drive time from one to the other is approximately 45 minutes.
