Why NC Sassenach Tours?
We focus our tours on the places the Frasers lived and visited. Wilmington, New Bern, Edenton, Alamance, Hillsborough, the Cape Fear Valley Region, Old Salem, Moores Creek, Ocracoke and The Ridge. And we won't stop there, we'll take you to points between and beyond to bring you the complete history of Jamie & Claire's 18th-century North Carolina. Plus we've added in a lot of fun along the way!
Your Guides
We are two crazy Sassenachs born, raised & living in the amazing state of North Carolina. Carolyn, on the right, introduced Beth, on the left, to Outlander in 2015. The rest is history. We are looking forward to sharing some time with you on our journeys!

Experience the Frasers' North Carolina in Summer 2023! Choose one or both of our one-day auto tours or our one-day historic Wilmington on-foot tour. On our auto tours, you can relax in the comfort of your own vehicle as we have your entire day mapped out for you! Our on-foot and on-water Wilmington tour takes you to historic places all within a few blocks of each other. No car required. You don't have to do any of the planning - just show up and GO! Plus our tours feature the best of the best stops, restaurants, and adventures! We'll even help you find your perfect accommodations if you'd like!
